Camp Description
Elite U is excited to add Architecture to our S.T.E.M. programming. Over the last few years we have found that children LOVE to build. What happens when you teach kids how the professionals build our homes, schools, theatre, stadiums, and all the places that we love? We will answer that question this year.
Architectural Engineers apply the skills of many engineering disciplines to the design, construction, maintenance and recycling of buildings.
What differentiates Architectural Engineering from its component disciplines is the effort to understand and design for the integration of all the building systems. Camp includes before / after care, four days of instruction, and one field trip.

DAILY ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
- 8:00 – 8:45 AM CHECK IN
- 9:00 AM CAMP BEGINS
- 9:00 AM LEARN NEW TERMS
- 9:30 AM SPLIT INTO GROUPS FOR BRAINSTORMING
- 10:00 AM STUDENTS SELECT STRUCTURE TO CREATE
- 10:15 AM INTRODUCTION TO SOFTWARE & BUILD MODEL W/ LEGOS
- 11:45 AM TIME TO CLEAN UP AND SAFE WORK
- 12:00 PM LUNCH
After lunch ALL campers will be placed into age groups and will participate in counselor led activities.
- 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM PHYS-ED, INSIDE GAMES, OR ART
- 3:00 PM PARENT PICK UP BEGINS
- 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM LATE EXTENDED DAY / PARENT PICK UP
