Camp Dates: June 24, 2024 – June 28, 2024 • Limit: 25 Campers
Elite U is excited to continue the Aerospace Engineering Program for another year. This year our aerospace engineers will learn and explore planetary science! For decades NASA’s planetary science program has advanced the scientific understanding of the solar system in extraordinary ways, while pushing the limits of robotic engineering design and operations. Units include: studying and building models of earth orbiting telescopes, ground based sensors, and the planetary fleet satellites and robotic instruments.

Daily Activity Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 8:45 AM CHECK IN
- 9:00 AM CAMP BEGINS
- 9:00 AM INTRODUCTION TO MARS MISSIONS!
- 9:30 AM LECTURE AND DISCUSSION
- 10:00 AM STUDENTS BUILD LEGO MODEL MARS ROVER, ORBITER, OR LANDER
- 11:00 AM STUDENTS PRESENT THEIR MODEL
- 11:45 AM TIME TO CLEAN UP AND SAFE WORK
- 12:00 PM LUNCH
After lunch ALL campers will be placed into age groups and will participate in counselor led activities.
- 1:00 PM PHYS-ED, MUSIC, S.T.E.M., OR ART
- 2:00 PM SELF REGULATED STUDENT – LED GAMES
- 3:00 PM OUTSIDE PLAY
- 4:00 PM QUIET REFLECTIVE TIME

Elite University Aerospace campers will get fired up about math and physics when they see it come to life in a state-of-the-art wind tunnel. Our highly trained STEM educators guide students through an immersive, hands-on experience that consists of:
• An interactive presentation on real-world STEM applications.
• Physics demonstrations in the wind tunnel.
• Lab activity and immersive experiments (based on grade level).
• Measure and record data and interpret results.
• One-on-one flying with a certified world-class iFLY flight instructor.
