Camp Description
Elite U is excited to add Camp Water Sports to our Camp West University Schedule! This field trip based camp. Our campers will be bussed to five locations to go: wakeboarding, wake tubing, kayaking, swimming, and participate in a water obstacle course. All students will be provided a life jacket, adult supervision, as well as professional instruction.
Campers will need the following: swimsuit • change of clothes • backpack • water bottle • sack lunch • insulated lunch bag • snacks
If your camper is on the meal plan all meals and snacks will be provided

Kayaking
Kayaking
Vendor: Riva Row Boat House

Elite U Water Sports Campers will be shuttled from Trinity Episcopal to Riva Row for a day of Kayaking. Riva Row is located in Woodlands, Texas. All campers will have safety training and be required to wear a life jacket. All campers will kayak in a tandem kayak that is set for two campers. Campers will be supervised by Elite U Counselors and Riva Row staff members.
Wake Tubing

Elite U Water Sports Campers will enjoy a day of Wake Tubing on Lake Conroe! 1097 Watersports is the letter waterspouts provider on Lake Conoe. All campers will enjoying riding on a pontoon boat with camp counselors while waiting for their wake tubing session. Campers will be required to wear life jackets and undergo safety training with our water sports professional before boarding the boat. After wake tubing our campers will eat lunch at picnic tables overlooking the water.
Swimming

We are excited to partner with Wolfies Swim School to teach our campers the importance of water safety and swim skills! For young children, it is crucial to learn about safety in the water while still having fun. Wolfies Swim School practices the important safety steps of grabbing the wall and back floating. Each child should be challenged within their comfort zone in order to achieve progress. Once each camper achieves the goals of each level, they are leveled up and begin practicing the next set of goals.

Elite U Houston Water Sports campers will have the most fun at Houston’s only Aqua Park. Hangar 9 is equipped with an inflatable obstacle course and offers the best training for wake boarding Houston has to offer. Our campers will have fun on the water obstacle course while waiting for their wake board lesson and session. All campers will undergo safety training and wear life jackets during all activities. Campers will be supervised by Hangar 9 staff and Elite U counselors.
Water Park

Our Houston Water Sports Campers will have the BEST time with our counselors at Typhoon Texas! A trip to a water park is the perfect way to end the summer before going back to school. Our campers will be split into groups of 5-6 to enjoy the best that the water park has to offer. All campers will have the opportunity to swim, play next the water structures, float on the Lazy T. River, and ride the slides. Campers will be provided access life jackets. Campers will also have lunch and snack at the venue so no need to pack a lunch for the day!
